The New Year is pretty near, and it’s time for contemplation on my next year’s plans engaging with the Software Testing and Software Quality communities.
I have a few thoughts in my mind, and I thought I would put out a blog for you to engage with me on those.
First thing on my list is about Software Testing tools. I have not been paying as much attention to this space as I should because I have been focusing on the various pillars of software products, to address them from a quality perspective. But I have had a few opportunities in 2023 to engage with a few tool vendors, and I am happy to share that there has been some progress in contributing to their efforts from an advisor perspective. I look forward to work on these closely as we move into the new year 2024.
Second is my YouTube channel. There have some cool opportunities for some wonderful podcasts planned for the next year. I am so excited connecting with experts in the performance and security space to discuss in detail about some pressing problems in their space. I look forward to it.
Third is the training/coaching for software testing and quality locally in Bengaluru, as well as online. This has not made much progress, but I think there will be some traction in the coming year. It’s a key ingredient in my time for contemplation for the next year. Organisations and people are more and more realizing the importance of catching issues upfront. They need handholding and guidance of how to do that, and that’s something I’m very interested in coaching about!
Apart from all the above, I am continuing to provide consultancy in testing and quality in general, and specifically to logistics and supply chain companies, as well as am engaged in social networks on sharing my work and thoughts.
The above are going to keep my next year busy! What about you? Feel free to share in the comments!
As always, if you would like to schedule a chat with you to discuss your plans, or share anything at all in the Software Testing and Quality space, please feel free to setup a chat. Glad to talk.
Cheers, and stay engaged!
